The Ponds Conservancy, a not-for-profit community organization, is being created to enhance the quality of life and sense of community at The Ponds through educational programs, social events, cultural endeavors and environmental stewardship.  However, the function of The Conservancy goes beyond protecting nature and the beauty of the land at The Ponds.  Its overriding purpose is to become a thriving resource for community activity and spirit.

A Conservancy Director will be charged with creating programs to help residents interact with our surroundings, become educated about its flora, fauna, and history, and utilize all that the land and water has to offer.  Cultural and social programs will also be available to promote artistic and communal initiatives through featured exhibits and events.

The Ponds Conservancy also provides its members an opportunity to share our beautiful and natural resources with the larger Summerville community.  Simply stated, The Conservancy is a unique, sustainable amenity that will enhance the quality of life for those living here, and increase the desirability of The Ponds for generations to come.

All property owners of The Ponds are members of The Conservancy.  Through the purchase of one of our properties, you automatically receive membership privileges.  The Conservancy is funded by sales transfer fees, whereby a percentage of all sales is contributed to The Conservancy in perpetuity.
