The Summerville properties at The Ponds are situated within one of the best school districts in the state of South Carolina.  The Ponds is located in Dorchester School District Two, which is one of the fastest growing districts in South Carolina.  Ten schools in our district have been awarded recognition from the Department of Education for their family friendly environments.  In addition, School District Two was the recipient of a nearly $900,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Education for the District Dorchester Arts Project.

There are also many recognized colleges and universities surrounding our Summerville real estate community.  Among them is The Citadel, the prestigious  military college located in Charleston, SC, that was founded in 1842.  Also, several four-year accredited liberal arts colleges, including Charleston Southern University, and The College of Charleston are within a forty five minute drive from our new master-planned community.  And finally, Trident Technical College.
