The Ponds may be a quaint Southern town, however there are many bustling shopping areas surrounding our Summerville properties.  Not to mention the many Lowcountry boutiques and locally owned shops located right in the heart of downtown Summerville.

Historic downtown Summerville is a vibrant shopping area, with dozens of specialty storefronts including art galleries,  book stores, clothing stores, antique stores, hair salons, and day spas.

Our Summerville homes at The Ponds are just a quick drive away from the modern malls and shopping centers located throughout the Charleston, SC area.  Northwoods Mall located in North Charleston, offers more than 130 stores, eateries, and services, including The Gap, American Eagle Outfitters, Bath & Body Works, Sears, and JC Penney. Tanger Outlets has recently opened a full outlet center with over 90 brand-name stores in North Charleston.
 
Located in the heart of downtown Charleston is The Shops at Charleston Place, and The Riviera.  Charleston Place boasts that they offer the most exquisite and exclusive selection of shops for families living in South Carolina, including Gucci, LaCoste, Tommy Bahama, Brookstone, Talbots, and Godiva Chocolates.

Groceries and Drug Stores

Just down the street from your Summerville home at The Ponds are a wide variety of stores and markets to buy fresh produce, meats, and groceries. One of the most popular grocery outlets is the Summerville Farmers Market, which, from early Spring until late Fall, offers ripe local produce, baked goods, jams, and jellies.  There are also three supermarkets (Publix , Piggly Wiggly and Bi-Lo) and two drug stores (Walgreens and CVS Pharmacy) located within 4 miles of The Ponds that provide a wide selection of grocery items and make one-stop shopping a ‘snap’.
